Carlo Previtali was born in Bergamo in 1947. After the "Liceo Artistico" he attended in Milan the "Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera" where, in 1975, he got a diploma in sculpture at the school of Alik Cavaliere. He taught at the "Istituto d'Arte Andrea Fantoni", at the "Liceo Artistico" in Bergamo, at the "Accademia di Belle Arti Carrara" in Bergamo. At the moment he is titular of the chair of Discipline Plastiche at the "Liceo Artistico" in Lovere.
He lives and works in Grumello del Monte (Bergamo), 36 Via Roma.

His first exhibitions where held in the 60s. He took part in reviews and held personal and collective exhibitions in public and private places.
